Apparently you can disable (if roundaboutly) suggested content on every platform *except* iOS. 8 years ago

There’s really no advantage to using Chrome over Firefox or Safari, just disadvantages; “pull page down to refresh” needs to have a disable option! I can’t count how many times I have typed up a post, only to scroll up too far and lose what I was typing. 8 years ago
