I am not an artist, however fresh paint gives me the opportunity to work with different types of canvas/paper - - I believe it used to have a feature of being able to trace?? Gone I guess forever, perhaps legal issue? again I'm a novice, but I like the fact I can use different kinds of brushes with what seems to be wet paint upon application! Oh and it is free. 10 years ago

Here's why I love this app: ability to mix paints on a palette to create my own colors; ability to see realistic textures and actions of the medium based on what you're using; ability to create "multimedia" drawings/paintings because of the incredibly flexible tools; ability to change paper/canvas to create even more flexibility in textures achieved. 10 years ago

Fresh Paint is great- I love being able to make Fine Art anywhere, and without the mess! It doesn't have text, or selections or cut/paste, but that's ok- MS paint still exists for all that! They are two different apps, for two very different purposes and I use and love both! This version of Fresh Paint also lets users create their own activities, turn backgrounds on and off, and has added a Pen tool. 10 years ago
